Member profiles and company Pages

Manage LinkedIn with Ripple

Post as yourself or your company Pages, answer Page comments and follow Page analytics. All through LinkedIn's official API, next to your other networks.

What you can do

Everything Ripple does on LinkedIn

Each feature below reflects what LinkedIn's API allows today. Where it does not, we say so.

LinkedIn details

On LinkedIn, you can

Connect member profile

  • Publish, edit, schedule and delete posts
  • Read and write comments
  • Post analytics

Connect LinkedIn Pages

  • Publish, edit, schedule and delete company Page posts
  • Read and answer comments on Page posts in the inbox
  • Page, follower and post analytics

What you can post to LinkedIn

  • Text of up to 3,000 characters
  • Up to 20 images per post
  • Video up to 500 MB
  • Links can be shared as an article card

The publishing hub checks these limits as you type and shows a LinkedIn preview before anything is posted.

How to connect

Connect LinkedIn in three steps

  1. 1

    Sign in to Ripple

Use your DuoDev account and create or pick an organisation.

  2. 2

    Open Connections

An owner or admin chooses LinkedIn and the way to connect.

  3. 3

    Approve on LinkedIn

You sign in on LinkedIn's own page and approve the permissions. Ripple never sees your password.

Connect member profile

Post as yourself with the self-serve LinkedIn app.

You need

  • A LinkedIn account. The member profile connection posts as you.
  • You may need to reconnect when LinkedIn's access expires; Ripple reminds owners and admins beforehand.

Connect LinkedIn Pages

Company Pages you administer, through the Community Management API.

You need

  • An admin or content admin role on each LinkedIn company Page.
  • Uses LinkedIn's Community Management API, which LinkedIn approves separately.
  • Access lasts 60 days unless LinkedIn renews it; Ripple reminds owners and admins before it expires.

Posts only as company Pages (personal posts use the member profile connection).

Access tokens are encrypted at rest and scoped to your organisation. Disconnecting asks LinkedIn to revoke access where it supports that.
